I believe each individual is at their own artistic level. What makes my classes unique is that each person is allowed to progress through the curriculum at their own speed.
I take great pleasure in seeing my students realise their creative potential and grow as artists.
This environment seeks to cultivate a community of artists at all levels, who want to discover and explore their creative practice. For prospective teen art students, I offer assistance in completing their visual diaries and building their portfolio.
I have an absolute passion for art history and art appreciation! I believe that we do not study history to understand the past. we study history to predict the future, to gain an in-depth understanding of human behaviour and to learn from the key messages to transform our current world.
Founder Simone Russell has worked as a Graphic Designer for over 20 years; and as a Professional Artist for more than 10 years.

Tuesday mornings from 09:00 to 11:00 (Adults)
Tuesday afternoons from 14:00 to 16:00 (Teens / Adults)
Tuesday evenings from 17:00 to 19:00 (Teens / Adults)
Classes are limited to 5 people per class. Classes are run from January to beginning of December on a monthly basis (including school holidays).
What’s included?
Class Notes / extra information / techniques where applicable.
What’s not included?
All art materials.
Mediums?
The Mediums that I teach are the following:
- Drawing classes –pencil, charcoal, and pastels
- Painting classes –oils, acrylics and watercolour
- Mixed media – mixture of mediums
- Portfolio Work – for high school students
